Sunset, Moroccan Style

I know I promised to post Morocco photos soon. Thing is, it turns out there were a lot of them. Like, 1300+ of them from my camera alone. Let’s not discuss the video clips. Or the other couple of hundred that are on E’s camera that I haven’t aggregated yet. Or the fact that our other travel companions have much more to add to the collection. Or the fact that 1/15th of my computer’s harddrive is currently occupied by these photos. Not that I’m not completely giddy over having had the opportunity to take that many pictures, mind you. It’s just that weeding out the bad ones and trying to think of a good way to categorize them (my OCD will never let me rest otherwise) is proving to be a more daunting task than I had imagined.

But I won’t leave you empty-handed! Here’s a photo I took from the back balcony of our host’s house in the Middle Atlas Mountains as the sun was setting (surprise, surprise!). Maybe it’s because I’m just a silly city slicker but I think the sunsets there are nothing short of amazing, made even better by the fact that we were surrounded by the mountains and trees and wind (and mewing kittens beneath our feet).

Bonus! The aforementioned kittens (am I predictable or what?):
