Central Park in the Fall

Since Saturday was full of The Suck because the rain just would not cooperate, it was nice to wake up on Sunday morning afternoon to 61 degree (!!) weather and the sun shining bright.

I love watching the leaves turn color. That’s another thing I miss about the suburbs.

I think I waited one week too many to visit Central Park to see the foliage. It was still beautiful, but I had clearly missed out on the peak color-change.

Still, it never ceases to amaze me how much the park has to offer besides trees. So many people and so much music and activity. And the wildlife! Not just squirrels and sparrows!
