Remember this scarf from last year? Well, I’m here to report that it never got finished. I could list a bunch of excuses reasons why, but I’m trying to save my breath here.

Anyway, it was just sitting there in my craft drawer, a constant reminder of my procrastination and laziness and I decided I had to do something with it. I wasn’t happy with the pattern anymore so I took it apart (sidenote: it’s strangely cathartic to pull out all that yarn and wind it back into a ball…). And here it is in its second incarnation:

Not really sure how I feel about it, but I think the stitching on this is more of a “manly” look. Whatever that means.

Let’s hope round two comes out better than the first time around.
