Butterfly Conservatory

After my little adventure in Africa, it was time to check out The Butterfly Conservatory.

Am I the only one who finds it a bit morbid to have displays of dead butterflies so close to live ones? Not that I’m complaining…just sayin’, is all.

The butterflies here aren’t shy. They’ll land anywhere, on anyone.

Blue Morpho

This exhibit pales in comparison only to the Butterfly Forest exhibit at Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh. Definitely worth the time!
