Move Over, David Attenborough

The common Catnip Mouse comes out at night to forage for food. He’s a slow-moving fellow with poor eyesight, but his scent is irresistible to kitties.

Tonight, he has company.

Felix Catus can often be found patrolling his territory for Fancy Feast. But tonight, he has mouse on the brain. He crouches, preparing for the right moment to strike. Felix Catus’ signature move is to lay as still as possible and act distant and aloof as the Catnip Mouse unknowingly makes its way closer.

The moment to strike is here. With a wiggle of his behind, Felix Catus is prepared.

He lunges.

He misses.

Catnip Mouse scurries away to a safe hiding place. He lives to see another day.
