About

Hello, there! Since you are reading this, you probably fall into one of the following categories:

1. You are a friend.
2. You are a member of my family.
3. You randomly stumbled here.
4. You are a stalker.

If you fall into the first three categories, welcome to my little slice of the Internet! I hope you’ll like what you see and stick around for a while. If you are a Category 3 visitor, please feel free to introduce yourself. I encourage this since it makes me feel less like I’m talking to myself and more like I actually have, you know, Category 1 visitors. It also brings you safely over the thin line between Category 3 and 4.

If you are a Category 2 person, then Hi Mom! Hi Dad! Hello Family Member of Mine!

If you fall into Category 4, stop it! That’s just creepy.

Ahem.

I am a geeky girl who grew up in Suburbia, NY. I’m sure I’ll get over it some day. I escaped for four years when I went to college in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and now I live and work in New York City. It’s not so bad most of the time, but what electrical grid does a girl have to disable to see some starry nights around here?!

This blog is a product of boredom, curiosity, and my need to have a place to dump all of the ideas that float around in my head. Among other things, my days are primarily filled with computer programming (work), crafting/glue&paper/knitting/newbie photography/reading (leisure), and daydreaming about traveling to every corner of the world (all the time). Much like my life, I have no idea where I want this blog to go. But that’s okay — my goals in life are simple: make every day an adventure (obligatory cliche, so sue me), knit a lot, craft a lot, learn some decent photography skills, travel, improve my cooking skills so I don’t have to continue eating take-out, learn to write coherent sentences, overcome my neuroses, and gain some semblance of sanity.

I hope you like what you see and I hope you’ll stop by often!
